La Valote Martin L'originale Absinthe is a fine example of absinthe from the Val de Travers. Distilled in Boveresse, the L'originale from Francis Martin is a floral and spicy Suisse absinthe with a little higher alcohol content than his other creations.
Well rounded, and not too soft, L'originale is made with a hefty 11.4 kilos of herbs per 40 litres, and includes green anise, melissa, grande absinthe, petite absinthe, coriander, fennel, hyssop, peppermint, star anise, and liquorice.
