Product Description
La Clandestine absinthe uses a recipe that dates back to 1935, and after several years of making his own “clandestine” Suisse la bleue absinthe at home, in 2005 Claude-Alain Bugnon became the first distiller in Couvet in the Val-de-Travers region of Switzerland to produce absinthe legally. Dedicated to its recipe creator, Bugnon named his absinthe, Charlotte.
None of the family of La Clandestine absinthes have any added artificial colour. All are 100% natural. All are distilled.
This absinthe won first prize and "Absinthe d’or" at the National Competition for Swiss spirits on September 16, 2005 and Gold Medal in the same competition in 2007.
