Product Description
Opaline Absinthe is a Swiss verte produced by Claude-Alain Bugnon and is another fine example of the quality of his absinthe. The flavour is gutsy and complex without being noisy, and this absinthe does not disappoint for wormwood, anise, fennel, or angelica.
Fans of La Clandestine who want to branch into a verte should certainly try Opaline. It is the direct cousin of Angélique but with stronger wormwood bitterness. Try first without sugar to sample the bitter effect of the wormwood, then add sugar as required.
Opaline Absinthe is part of a growing "Diamond Line" of high quality absinthes from Artemisia-Bugnon.
Opaline Absinthe is 68% abv / 136 proof
