Product Description
Mata Hari (new recipe) is a naturally coloured, low-anise absinth from Fischer Distillery and Schnaps Museum. It is a unique beverage with high levels of wormwood and salvia. The distillery attributes the recipe to one dating from 1881. It is also an award winner: Gold medal World Spirits Award 2008.
Mata Hari is not for the faint of heart. It is bitter (a bitterspirituose) and quite strong, but remains a popular choice for those who prefer a strong, low-anise absinth.
We recommend diluting with at least 3 parts water and adding sugar.
Mata Hari absinth is 60% abv / 120 proof
