A unique way to louche. This two part brouilleur is made up of a small cup on a hollow spike, which then fits into a hole on a small plate. This is a modernized replica of the historic Perrenod et Cie brouilleur.
Silver-plated.

Directions for use: Fill your absinthe glass with an appropriate level of water (three to five parts) and place the Perrenod brouilleur on top. The tip of the hollow spike should be under water. Add a measure of absinthe to the metal cup and watch a unique louche form as absinthe penetrates water, rather than the other way around!
Works best without sugar. The metal plate traps the aromas of the changing beverage and lifting the brouilleur should reveal a pleasing scent.
